NVIDIA Update keeps your PC up-to-date with the latest NVIDIA drivers by notifying you when a new driver is available and directing you to the driver on. Only choose this option if you want to wipe your custom GPU settings and start fresh. At this point, you can also perform a clean installation, which, if selected, will restore all of your NVIDIA GPU settings to their defaults and remove the profiles you've already created.It's not required to run or use NVIDIA GeForce Experience, so you can safely switch it off. The download links for 32-bit and 64-bit Drivers are different as are the Drivers for different Operating Systems. it said I need Java, I installed Java.eventually I gave up and just downloaded the driver for my card again. To update your GPU drivers using GeForce Experience: Download and install NVIDIA Drivers GeForce 900, 700, 600, 600, 500 and 400 Series for both Desktop and laptop PCs and also for Notebooks. For some reason, the geForce autodetect feature from Nvidia does not work in either Windows 7 or 10.
